Susan Cameron is the founder of School Curriculum Specialists, LLC, an education consultancy dedicated to improving the education of all students through focused school improvement efforts.
Susan and her team of exceptional educators assist schools in the development and management of a taught, written, and assessed curriculum in order to maintain a viable curriculum base for quality teaching and learning.
Susan has served as a classroom teacher, instructional specialist, and mentor teacher for Mesa Public Schools, and curriculum director and staff developer for the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community Schools.
She is currently a member of the AZ Charter School Association Advisory Council, on the board of the Arizona Teaching, Learning, and Assessment Consortium, a professional development leadership coach for the Arizona Department of Education, and a Field Director for AdvancEd/NCA serving the accreditation needs of charter schools in Arizona.
She is a certified curriculum management auditor for Phi Delta Kappa and Curriculum Management Systems, Inc., and trainer for the book, 50 Ways to Close the Achievement Gap, by Bill Poston, Fenwick English, Carolyn Downey and Betty Steffy.
